Departments

Tentmaster: Tentmasters are a Department role that specialize in Community Management. Tentmasters are qualified to represent the Circus internally, and are trusted with the responsibility of engaging with the community as a whole. They are the main role tasked with maintaining morale within the Circus (and the userbase of its projects), and must be objective and unbiased people. Seigniorage Circus Tentmasters may also be involved in developing standards and policies based on community management. The Tentmaster Department will be limited to 24.

Roustabout: Roustabouts are a Department role that specializes in Operations and Systems. Roustabouts are qualified to represent the Circus internally, and are trusted with the responsibility of keeping operational functionality throughout the Troupe optimized. Roustabouts also place a focus on organization and leadership, and develop internally the policies, protocols, procedures, and philosophies that help the Seigniorage Circus reach its goals and maximize its positive impact. The Roustabout Department will be limited to 24.

Chandelier: Chandeliers are a Department role that specializes in Engineering and Project Management. Chandeliers are qualified to represent the Circus internally, and contribute oversight and consultation within the Seigniorage Circus' sphere of influence. Chandeliers can also use their skill sets to collaborate, plan, manage, build, and audit projects that help further the goals of the Seigniorage Circus, and this is especially encouraged when done in alignment with the future vision of the Seigniorage Circus. The Chandelier Department will be limited to 24.

Tasseographist: Tasseographists are a Department role that specializes in Intelligence and Research. Tasseographists are qualified to represent the Circus internally, in the context of their performed skill set. Tasseographists conduct membership screening for the Troupe, both internally and externally, and also conduct investigations and compile reports of broader activity within the web3 space that fall within the Circus’ purview. The Tasseographist Department will be limited to 24.

Elephant: The Elephant role's purpose is secret, and Troupe members caught revealing the purpose of the Elephant role to Gillies without permission may be viewed as being in violation of the Code of Conduct.
